Troy always had the desire to own his own business. As a young African American male, he feels he will be better suited to serve mankind if he has his own business and able to employ people that would, otherwise, not be hire by larger corporations. Troy enjoys exploring new opportunities that offer him the capacity to think and use his creative strengths. As a young man watching his father's entrepreneurial struggles and failures, Troy feels compelled to find a more systematic approach to being a successful business owner. Troy is a great debater and possesses great research skills. He is proficient at using the Internet as a search tool to find valuable information that can help facilitate ideas. Troy enjoys the art of creative thought and execution, is self-driven, and can easily motivate others. Troy hopes to gain knowledge about the ins and outs of being an entrepreneur and get detailed information on what will be needed in order to have a successful business as he becomes an adult. He feels the 2008 Summer Buzz on Biz Academy offers a lot of topics that he is eager the learn about, including how to write a business plan. He knows and understands that a successful business must start with a successful business plan. Troy hopes to leave the Academy with a better understanding of what kind of business he wants to develop and a business plan that will guide him to achieving his goal. |
