| Age 16 Fashion Entrepreneur Aydin is a rising 11th grader, a young person interested in entrepreneurship, and believes that the 2008 Summer Buzz on Biz Academy will help him to accomplish some of his goals. He is entrepreneurial-minded and feels he will greatly benefit from participating in the Academy. Aydin is hopeful that the Academy will also teach him to take an idea and turn it into a business. He believes that this alone, is a very important in owning and running a business. Additionally, Aydin believes that many businesses crash and burn because they aren't operating properly, and the Academy is designed to teach participants how to operate a business successfully. Another reason Aydin joined the Academy is that, although it is no cost to his parents, it is a great value to him. He knows that other programs charge hundreds of dollars for less than what the 2008 Summer Buzz on Biz Academy offers. Aydin's expectation is that the Academy will help him grow and develop into an astute business person, and receive all that the program has to offer. Aydin endeavors to learn and gain: entrepreneurial training, mentor job shadowing, and to learn how to bring a business idea from a small seed idea to a profitable money-making enterprise. His greatest expectation of the Academy is that once he has completed the program he will be able to start his own business. Aydin feels he can make a variety of valuable contributions to the Academy, and plans to help the program grow and become a successful entrepreneur in days to come. The reason Aydin covets a career as an entrepreneur is because, rather than work for the "man," he prefers to be the "man." |
